History
Burgess Strategic Marketing Services was founded in Troy, Michigan, starting as an editorial services firm in 1986. By 1996, the company had evolved from a tactical to a strategic focus. Realizing that brilliant tactics won’t accomplish much if an organization has no clear objectives, nor a strategy for achieving them, we enhanced our strategic planning, leadership and business administration expertise so that we can meet client needs more comprehensively, generating results that achieve both short-term objectives and long-range organizational goals.
The company has served clients in a broad range of industries and in the public sector – local, national and global in scope -- from healthcare and human services to travel and transportation to automotive and other manufacturing.
